ABOUT HINE ANESTHESIA
Hine Anesthesia was founded in 2025 by Ken Hine, MD, following his joining Anesthesia Medical Group Santa Cruz. Later that year, Ken reunited with longtime colleague and mentor Michael Lam, MD, a physician anesthesiologist with over 30 years of experience, who guided him in the specialized practice of mobile office-based anesthesia for dental and oral surgery.
Today, Hine Anesthesia proudly serves patients throughout the Greater San Francisco Bay Area, including San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Marin, Monterey, Contra Costa, Alameda, and Santa Cruz counties.
ABOUT KEN HINE, MD
Ken was born in Philadelphia and raised in Palo Alto. Over the next 15 years, he lived and trained in a wide range of places—including San Diego, Kurikoma, Grinnell, Philadelphia, Flushing, and Loma Linda. He has since returned to the San Francisco Bay Area, which he is grateful to once again call home.
In his practice, Ken is known for his strong work ethic and unwavering commitment to delivering the highest standard of care to every patient. He approaches each case with diligence, attention to detail, and a profound respect and gratitude for the trust patients place in him.
During his free time, Ken enjoys staying active, listening/playing music, and playing golf.
